A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR
HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service
Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of the
Government Code, in connection with a request for vacation and
abandonment of an existing public utility easement, located
north of Lanerose Drive, east of Western Avenue, in the City
of Anaheim, and more fully hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use that portion of an ex-
isting easement located north of Lanerose Drive, east of Western
Avenue, in the City of Anaheim, for public utility purposes as
it may relate to the following described property:
That certain public utility easement located in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, de-
scribed in the deed to the Southern California Edison
Company, a corporation, recorded in Book 2872, page 99,
Official Records of said Orange County, to be abandoned,
described as follows;
An easement within one foot of the following described
line:
A line parallel with and 110 feet southerly measured at
right angles from the north line of the west X32 z feet of
the east 247 feet of the Northwest quarter of the North-
west quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 23,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West, S.B.B. M.
Except therefrom the north 396 feet thereof.
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Public
Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5,
of the Government Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation and abandonment has been fixed on the 22nd day of
Jul 1975, at 2:30 o'clock I.M. in the Council Chamber
in thh Hall in the City of Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the
Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 24th day of June, 1975.
