RESOLUTION NO. 87R-287 WHI(/~ FLTABLIS}~I) ~ OF (I~4P~SATION FOR
CLASSES ASSIGNED TO THE G~q~AL UNiT REPRESEN£n3 BY THE ~
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has rec~,m~nded in a staff
report dated October 2, 1990, that the classifications of Police C~unity
Services Representative I, Police Community Services Representative II, Police
Firearms Instructor I, Police Firearms Instructor II, Senior Police C~mmity
Services Representative and Senior Police Firearms Instructor be created
effective September 28, 1990; and
WH~qEAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution No.
87R-287 which established rates of cu,,~ensation for classes assigned to the
General Unit represented by the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
amending P~solution No. 87R-287 as set forth hereinbelow is in the best
interests of the city of Anaheim.
NOW, ~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
That, effective September 28, 1990 through October 11, 1990, the basic
compensation plan for all officers and ~1oyees of the City of Anaheim who are
now employed or will in the future be employed in the classifications listed
below sbmll be allocated to the following salary schedule in the Salary
Schedule Master:

BE IT FURTH~q RESOLVED that all provisions of the Memorandum of
Understanding, dated December 9, 1987, between the city of Anab~i~ a~d the
General Unit of the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association apply to the
foregoing classification.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as amended herein, Resolution
No. 87R-287 shall remain in full force and effect.
THE FOPSGOING RESOLL~ION is approved and adopted by the city Council
of the City of Anaheim this9th day of October, 1990.
