A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR
HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service
Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of the
Government Code, in connection with a request for vacation and
abandonment of an existing former Edison Company easement
located east of Rio Vista, south of Frontera Street, in the
City of Anaheim, and more fully hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention
to vacate, abandon and close to public use an existing former
Edison Company easement located east of Rio Vista, south of
Frontera Street, in the City of Anaheim, for public utility
purposes, as it may relate to the following described property:
That certain public utility easement located in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
conveyed to the Southern California Edison Co., a cor-
poration, by deed recorded November 26, 1912 in Book
224, page 22 of Deeds, records of Orange County, to be
abandoned, described as follows:
A strip of land 15 feet wide extending in a general
northwesterly direction along the easterly line of the
lands owned by J. H. and W.L. Morningstar, said land
is described as follows:
The South 10 acres of Lot 4 and the Westerly 9.92 acres
of Lot 3 in Block 23 of the Golden State Tract, as shown
on a map recorded in Book 4, page 66, Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County.
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Public Ser-
vice Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of
the Government Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation and abandonment has been fixed on the 22nd day of
April 1975, at 2:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber
inert e Ci y Hall in the City of Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the
Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 25th day of March, 1975.
