A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR
HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation
Act of 1971 of the Government Code in connection with a request
to vacate and abandon a portion of an existing dedicated alley
located east of Harbor Boulevard, between Santa Ana Street and
Dater Street, in the City of Anaheim., and more particularly
hereinafter described, subject to the following condition:
That a public utility easement be reserved to accom-
modate existing facilities of the Pacific Telephone
Company and the City Electrical Division within the
westerly 5 feet of the northerly 150 feet of the area
proposed for abandonment or that the applicants relo-
cate said facilities at their expense prior to the
recordation of the resolution approving said abandon-
ment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use said existing dedicated
alley located east of Harbor Boulevard, between Santa Ana Street
and eater Street, and more particularly described as follows, to
wit:
That portion of that certain public alley located in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be abandoned, lying within that portion of Vineyard
Lot G-5, as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, pages 629
and 630 of needs, records of Los Angeles County, described
as follows:
The easterly 20.00 feet of the westerly 139.46 feet of the
northerly 187.00 feet of Vineyard Lot G-5, as shown on a
map recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and 630 of Deeds, records
of Los Angeles County.
Reserving therefrom unto the City of Anaheim and unto the
Pacific Telephone Company a public utility easement to con-
struct, place, operate, inspect, maintain, repair, replace
and remove such aerial and underground telephone, telegraph
and communication structures as the companies may from time
to time require, consisting of poles, anchors, wires,
cables, conduits, manholes, markers and necessary fixtures
and appurtenances over, under, along and across the west-
erly 10 feet of the northerly 150 feet of the above
described area proposed for abandonment.
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1971 of the Government Code, subject to the con-
dition hereinabove set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation and abandonment has been fixed on the 13th day of
July , 1976 at 2:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council
Chamber in t e City Hall in the City of Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the
,Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of General circulation, printed,
published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
