RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA
AWARDING $12,500,000 SUBORDINATED
ELECTRIC REVENUE BONDS OF SAID CITY
TO THE BEST BIDDER AND REJECTING
ALL OTHER BIDS
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for the opening
of bids for the $12,500,000 Bonds of the City of Anaheim
designated the "Electric Revenue Bonds, Second Issue (Subordinated)
of 1976," (the "Bonds"), and numbered 1 to 2500, inclusive, all
bids were publicly opened, examined and read, and a tabulation
thereof has been entered in the minutes; and
WHEREAS, the bid of the bidder hereinafter named is the
best bid made by a responsible bidder for the Bonds;
NOW,. THEREFORE, the City ,Council of the City of 'Anaheim,
California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. The bid of John Nuveen & Co., Incorporated and
Associates attached hereto and marked
"Exhibit 1", specifying the purchase price for the Bonds including
accrued interest to the date of delivery and the interest rates
per annum, is the bid for the Bonds yielding the lowest net interest
cost. Said bid is hereby accepted and the Bonds awarded to said
best bidder in accordance with the terms of the bid.
Section 2. All bids other than the one accepted in
Section 1 hereof are rejected, and the City Clerk is directed to
return the check accompanying each rejected bid to the unsuccessful
bidder.
Section 3 The interest rates on the Bonds are hereby
fixed at the rates stated in the attached bid.
Section 4. The City Treasurer is hereby directed to
deliver the Bonds to the successful bidder upon payment therefor,
including accrued interest to the date of delivery.
