A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING FEES FOR INSTALLATION
COSTS AND MAINTENANCE CHARGES FOR THE SILENT
ALARM SYSTEM OPERATED BY THE.ANAHEIM POLICE
DEPARTMENT AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 72R-194.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Police Department maintains
and operates a silent alarm system to furnish alarm
protection in various buildings throughout the City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim incurs expense for
the maintenance and operation of the Police Department
silent alarm system; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has limited personnel
and equipment available for the maintenance and operation
of said Police Department silent alarm system., and desires
to restrict the use of said system to financial institutions
and buildings housing the facilities of public entities; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to establish
an equitable fee for costs of installation and maintenance
and operation of said silent alarm system., and to authorize
the Chief of Police to approve said installations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the use of the Anaheim Police
Department silent alarm system shall be restricted to
financial institutions and buildings housing the facilities
of public entities such as schools, governmental offices,
etc.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following fees and
charges for installation costs and monthly maintenance fees
for the Police Department silent alarm system shall be as
follows, effective on and after July 1, 19706:
1. For the installation of the silent alarm
system connection to the Police Department
facilities, a fee of $100-00 to be paid
at the time of installation and connection.
2. For services in connection with the
maintenance and operation of the Police
Department Silent Alarm System for each
subscriber to said service, a fee of X25.00
per month.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that installations of
said silent alarm system service shall be authorized by the
Chief of Police.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No.
72R-194 covering silent alarm system fees., be, and it is
hereby, rescinded.

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
