A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATIN8 A PORTION OF HERMOSA DRIVE.
(89-6A)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WtIEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law;
and
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of July, 1990, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, from the evidence
submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement
hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for present or
prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation
facilities.
WHEREAS, the City Council does determine that the
public convenience and necessity require the reservation and
exception of the easement(s) and right(s) of way hereinafter
specifically described.
WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place
public utility facilities in use for which easements are not
reserved and excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby
determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that
no easements be reserved for such £acilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of that portion
of Hermosa Drive, more specifically described as follows:
That portion of dedicated public streets, Hermosa
Drive and La Palma Avenue, in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, as shown on
the map of Tract No. 1691 recorded in Book 52, Pages
18 and 19 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, described in parcels
as follows:
Parcel 1: ttermosa Drive
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 26 of said
Tract No. 1691; thence South 0°07'58" West 108.00
feet along the Easterly lines of Lots 27 and 28 of
said Tract No. 1691 to a line parallel with and
Northerly 13.00 feet from the Southerly line of said
Lot 28; thence South 89°45'22" East 50.00 feet along
said parallel line to the Westerly line of Lot 29 of
said Tract No. 1691; thence North 0°07'$8" East
108.00 feet along said Westerly line and the Westerly
line of Lot 50 of said Tract No. 1961 to the Easterly
prolongation of the Southerly line of said Lot 26,
said prolongation being also the Southerly line of
that certain land described in Resolution No. 80R-70
of the City Council of the City of Anaheim, ordering
the vacation and abandonment of a portion of Hermosa
Drive, recorded March 11, 1980 in Book 13550, Page
1017 of Official Records in the office of said County
Recorder; thence North 89°45'22TM West 50.00 feet
along said prolongation and Southerly line to the
point of beginning.
Parcel 2: La Palma Avenue
That certain spandrell area in Lot 29 of said Tract
No. 1691 bounded as follows:
(1) On the West by the Westerly line of said Lot 29;
(2) On the Northeast by that certain curve described
as being concave Northeasterly and having a
radius of 15.00 feet for a portion of the
Northerly line of that certain easement for road
and utility purposes to the City of Anaheim
recorded July 21, 1980 in Book 15671, Page 1507
of Official Records in the office of said County
Recorder;
(3) And on the South by the Westerly prolongation of
that certain course described as "S89°45'22" E
119.82 feet" for a portion of said Northerly
line.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
· this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 17th day of July, 1990.
