RESOLUTION NO. 76R-630
A RCEESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON -
is 1,2EM OF A PORTION OF JEFFERSON STREET.
WHEREAS the City Council did, by resolution duly
posted C)
and published, give notice of its intention to vacate
and abandon Jefferson Street lying easterly of Tustin Avenue
'between La lialma Avenue and Corona -do Street; and
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of October,, 1976, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed abandonment; and
WHERE -AS, the City Council of the City of Anaheirp does
find, from the evidence submitted, t thathat portion of Jefferson
L.
Street hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for
present or prospective public street purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does determine that the
public convenience and necessity require the reservation and

exception of the easements and rights of way also hereinafter
specifically described.
NOW THEREEFORE-1 BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and aban-
donment of that portion of Jefferson Street, located generally
lying easterly of Tustin Avenue between La Palma Avenue and
Coronado Street, described as follows:
That portion of dedicated roadway commonly known as
Jefferson Street, located in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to be abandoned, described
as follows:
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Tustin Ave-
nue and Eagle Drive, as shown on a map recorded in Book
72, page 38 of Parcel Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of said Orange County; thence S 89' 52' 30' E31
2.46 feet; thence N 2 16' 30" E, 70.13 feet; thence East
53.04 feet to the true point of beginning; thence N 2'
16' 301 E, 230 feet; thence West 33.02 feet; thence N 2'
16' 30A: E, 196.19 feet; thence West 12.66 feet to a point
in a non -tangent curve concave northwesterly and having a
radius of 107.00 feet, a radial line bearing S 530 13"30'
E passes through said point; thence Southwesterly along
said curve through a central angle of 20' 51' 14" an arc
distance of 38.94 feet to a point, a radial line bearing
S 320 22' 16"' E passes through said point; thence S 2' bearing
30"W, 104.21 feet to a -point in a curve in the easterly
right of way line of Tustin Avenue 120 feet wide, having
a radius of 1,260.00 feet, a radial line bearing 71' 44'
55'� E passes through said point; thence Southeasterly
along said curve, also being said easterly right of way
line of Tustin Avenue through a central angle of 13° 46'
0911 an arc distance of 302.07 feet to a point, a radial
line bearing N 85' 29' WE passes through said point;
thence East 1.34 feet to the true point of beginning.
As shown on map attached hereto and made a part hereof.

Reserving therefrom unto the City of Anaheim an easement
for public utility purposes, a sanitary seiner line and
storm drain purposes to ether with all reasonable rights
of ingress and egress in and to all of the area proposed
for abandonment to accommodate existing facilities.
Reserving unto the Southern California Gas Company an
easement 10 feet wide over, under and across the wJesterly
10 feet of the x%lest half of said Jefferson Street.
Reserving unto the Pacific Telephone Company a 5 -foot
easement under, over and across the westerly 5 feet of the
east half of Jefferson Street to construct, place, operate,
inspect, maintain, repair, replace and remove such aerial
and underground telephone, telegraph and communication struc-
tures as the company may from time to time require consist-
ing of poles, anchors, wires, cables, conduits, manholes,
markers and necessary fixtures and appurtenances.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
