RESOLUTION :TO. 76R- 584 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC HEARING TO DETERMINE WHETHER AGRICULTURZA.L PRESERVE AGREE1,1ENTS SHOULD OR SHOULD NOT BE CANCELLED. WHEREAS, James S. Gregg, John S. Fluor and Raymond G. Simpson have requested t1lat their Agricultural Preserve Agreements be cancelled; and WHEREAS, said property is subject to annexation -to the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, it is required by the State law that a public hearing be held by the City Council of the City of Anaheim to determine if said cancellation should or should not be granted. -NOW, r-11-11111ER.EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that a public hearing to consider whether the City of Anahehm should agree to the request of James S. Gregg, John S. Fluor and Raymond G. Siyc,pson for the cancellation of their Agricultural Preserve Agreements restricting the use of approximately twenty-five (25) acres of land in the Douglass - Sunkist Agricultural Preserve is set for October 5, 1976, at the hour of 2:30 p.m..; description thereof is attached hereto as Exhibit "A." BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is instructed to publish notice of the public hearing one time iz, a newspaper of general circulation and to mail notices of public hearing toeach and every owner of land under contract, and any -portion of which is situated within the Douglass -Sunkist Agricultural Preserve and within one mile of the exterior boundary of the land, upon whi':�h the contracts are proposed to be cancelled. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Assessor is requested to determine the cancellation valuation of the subject land within the Douglass -Sunkist Agricultural Preserve and to certify said figure to the City Council of the Cit -_v of Anaheim in accordance with Section 51283(a) of the Government Code.
