A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE V1\CATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF CERTAIN REAL PROPEnTY DESCRIBED HEREIN.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
on the 27th day of March, 1973, declare by Resolution No. 73R-120
its intention to vacate and abandon a portion of an existing
public utility easement located East of Brookhurst Street and
North of Crescent Avenue, in the City of Anaheim, subject to the
condition that applicant will bear the cost of any removal,
relocation or revision to existing City utilities and Pacific
Telephone Company facilities; and did set the 17th day of April,
1973, for a public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, on said 17th day ~f April, 1973, at 1:30
o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City
of Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence sub-
mitted at said public hearing that that portion of the real
property described herein and in said Resolution of Intention is
unnecessary for public utility purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim:

1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly
held and that all notices were given and publica-
tions made as required by law.
2. That that portion of the real property toward which
a request for vacation and abandonment was directed
is not necessary for present or prospective public
utility purposes and does hereby order that said
portion, as herein set forth, be, and it is hereby,
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use.
3. That said portion of real property herein ordered
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use is more
particularly described as follows, to wit:
That portion of an unrecorded easement located in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California
conveyed to Southern California Edison Company and
assigned to the City of Anaheim lying within a portion
of the North 25 acres of the Southwest 1/4 of the
Northwest 1/4 of Section 8, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, S.B.B. & M. being a strip of land 10 feet in width
lying parallel with and five feet on each side of the
following described line:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of parcel 8 as shown
on a parcel map recorded in book 44, page 15, records of
Orange County, California; thence N 00 43' 36" W, 329.28
feet along the centerline of Bro~khurst Street 60.00 feet
wide to the true point of beginning of the line herein
described; thence N 890 37' 54" E, 404.86 feet to the
point terminus of said line.
Excepting therefrom the Westerly 226.00 feet thereof.

That the City Council finds that said vacation and
abandonment should be granted subject to the condi-
tion that applicant will bear the cost of any
removal, relocation or revision to existing City
utilities and Pacific Telephone Company facilities.
AND BE IT FUR.THER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be,
and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified
copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal
of the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 17th day of April, 1973.
