1976-528RESOLUTION NO. 76R-528
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RATES, RULES AND REGULATIONS
FOR THE SALE AND DISTRIBUTION OF ELECTRIC ENERGY
AS ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION NO. 71R-478 AND AMENDED

74R-75, 74R-630, 75R-243, 75R-344, 75R-345,
76R-41 and 76R-377.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim does distribute electric
energy to certain customers in Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has established electric
rate schedules for various customer classes in the City of
Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the budget as adopted for fiscal year 1976-77
included electric sales revenue of over $54 million; and
WHEREAS, this revenue estimate was predicated upon the
Southern California Edison Company being granted a 10.8 percent
rate increase by the California Public Utilities Commission on
September 1, 1976; and
WHEREAS, no rate increase has been granted to Edison
and it is uncertain when such action will take place; and
WHEREAS, to achieve the estimate of electric sales
revenue in the 1976-77 budget an increase in the electric rates
is necessary; and
WHEREAS, it is fiscally prudent to raise Anaheim's
electric rates at this time to minimize any adverse impact on
the approved 1976-77 budget that might be caused by delaying a
rate increase.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Rates, Rules and Regulations
adopted by Resolution No. 71R-478 and amended by Resolutions
Nos. 73R-25, 73R-343, 73R-531, 74R-75, 74R-6303 75R-243, 75R-344,
