WHEREAS, the City Plannin~ Commission of the City
of Anaheim did hold a public hearin~ in Reclassification Pro-
ceedings No. la~73-34 to consider Ian amendment to Title 18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and to consider
a change in the boundaries of the zqne or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described, and at saidl hearing did receive evidence
and reports from persons interested Itherein and from its staff ~
and
WHEREAS, within a period o~ forty days fOllowing said
hearing, the Planning Commission didl duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings,! a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recpmmendation that the proposed
amendment be adopted by the City Coupcil and that a certain zone
or zones be changed as hereinafter s~t forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of s~id resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and rec~mmendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council I did fix the ~~ day of
April , 1973 , and continued to t~e ----- day 0 ------__,

Harr-Qf the City of Anaheim as the p~ace for a public hearing
upon said proposed amendment to Titl, 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code, and the exclusion of said prop,rty, hereinafter described,
from the zone or zones in which it i$ now situated and the incor-
poration thereof in the zone or zone$ hereinafter set forth, and
did give notice thereof in the mannet and form provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Co~e~ and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold an4 conduct such public hearing
and did give all persons interested ~herein an opportunity to be
heard, and did receive evidence and ~eports, and did thereupon
consider the summary of evidence pre~ented at said public hearing
before the Planning Commission, its ~eport of findings and
recomrnendation~ and
WHEREAS, the City Council 40es find and determine that
the amendment to Title 18 of the Ana~eim Municipal Code should
be adopted and that the property her~inafter described should
be excluded from the zone or zones i~ which it is now situated
and incorporated in the zone or zone$ as hereinafter set forth.

subject to the following conditions:
1. That prior to the intrpduction of an ordinance
rezoning Lot No. 50 of Tract No. 16911 to the C-O, Commercial Office
Zone, written evidence shall be submiftted to the City of Anaheim
indicating that Anaheim Memorial Hospital is in fact the legal
owner of said Lot No. 50.

La Palma Avenue, La Palma Circle and I Hermosa Drive for tree
planting purposes.

the development proposal shall be ab~donedin accordance with
procedures established by the City o~ Anaheim.
6. That a reversion to a~reage map shall be submitted
to and approved by the City Council ~d then be recorded in the
office of the Orange County Recordert
7. That covenants, conditions and restrictions appli-
cable to all R-l parcels acquired by I Anaheim Memorial Hospital
shall be amended to the satisfaction!of the City AttOrney's Office
and such amendment shall be recordedlin the office of the Orange
County Recorder.
8. That a six-foot rnason~y wall shall be constructed
in conformance with the requirements lof the C-O Zone, except as
waived under this variance applicatiqn.
9. That trash storage ar~as shall be provided in
accordance with approved plans on fi~e with the office of the

as required and determined to be neceissary by the Chief of the

in such a manner as to be directed a~y from any abuttin9 parcels.
13. That subject property shall be served by underground
utilities.

17. Prior to the introduc~ion of an ordinance rezoning
subject property, Conditions Nos. 1,12, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, above
mentioned, shall be completed. The ~rovisions or rights granted
by this resolution shall become null! and void by action of the
City Council unless the conditions afe completed within one year
from the date hereof or such further: time as the City Council
may grant. .
18. That Conditions Nos. a, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and
16, above mentioned, shall be campli~d with prior to final build-
ing and zoning inspections. !
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED thar the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed, to prepare and subDsit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the obj~cts herein found and
determined to be necessary and prope;.
