1977-652RESOLUTION NO. 77R -652 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceedings No. 77 -78 -13 to consider an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter men- tioned and descrihed and, at said hearing, did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein and from its staff; and WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following said hearing, the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said hearing and approved the proposed amendment; an d WHEREAS, thereafter, within the time prescribed by law, an interested party or the City Council, on its own motion, caused the review of said Planning Commission action; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and did consider the same; and WHEREAS, the Citv Council does find and determine that the property and area proposed to he changed from the zone or zones in which it is now situated to a different zone, as herein- after set forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in which it is now incorporated and that a change of zone should not he granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: All that certain land in the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of that certain tract of land described as Parcel 1 in deed to the State of California, recorded March 19, 1968 in book 8546, page 192, Official Records of said Orange County; thence along the Northerly boundary of said 1 77 -78 -13 shall remain in the "RS -A- 43,000" RESIDENTIAL /AGRICULTURAL ZONE and that a reclassification to "CL(SC)" COMMERCIAL, LIMITED (SCENIC CORRIDOR OVERLAY) ZONE (for Portion A) and to "RS- 7200(SC)" RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY (SCENIC CORRIDOR OVERLAY) ZONE (for Portion B) be, and the same is hereby, denied. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 27th day of September, 1977. ATTEST: JLW:fm Parcel 1, South 84° 39' 34" North, 57.41 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southerly having a radius of 350.00 feet; thence Westerly along said curve, through an angle of 27° 49' 04" an arc distance of 169.93 feet; thence South 56° 50' 30" North a dis- tance of 4.85 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly having a radius of 90.00 feet; thence Northwesterly along said curve through an angle of 83 35' 29 an arc distance of 131.31 feet; thence North 39 34' 02" North, 53.15 feet along the said line of said Parcel 1, and its Northwesterly prolonga- tion, to a nontangent curve, concave Northeasterly, having a radius of 1735.00 feet; thence Northwesterly along said curve, from a tangent bearing North 28 46' 10" West through an angle of 1° 43' 39 an arc distance of 52.31 feet; thence North 25° 42' 14" East, 18.90 feet to the Southwesterly corner of that certain tract of land described as Parcel 2 in said deed to the State of California; thence continuing along the Southerly line of said Parcel 2, North 25° 42' 14" East 5.50 feet to a line parallel with and distant Southerly 30.00 feet, measured at right angles, from the Northerly line of said Parcel 2; thence along said parallel line North 78 08' 09" East, 328.66 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southerly, having a radius of 170.00 feet; thence Easterly along said curve, through an angle of 3° 10' 36 an arc distance of 9.43 feet to the Easterly line of that certain tract of land described as Parcel 1 in deed to E. Lee Schultz, et. al., recorded September 6, 1962 in book 6240, page 84, Official Records of said Orange County; thence South 22° 39" 53" East, along the Easterly line of said land of Schultz, to the point of beginning, un d ';7 CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM T.
