A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM GIVING NOTICE OF ITS INTENTION TO
SELL CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND OFFERING SAID
PROPERTY TO VARIOUS PUBLIC AGENCIES FOR PART,
RECREATIONAL OR OPEN SPACE PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is now the owner of certain
real property (Assessor's Parcel No. 232 011 -20). containing approxi-
mately 18.78 acres and located at the southwest corner of Orange-
wood Avenue and Rampart Street within the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, as more particularly described on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this refer-
ence (hereinafter referred to as "real property and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that said real
property is not, and will not be, needed by the City of Anaheim for
City purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to dispose of said real
property at the present time; and
WHEREAS, the Surplus Unimproved Land Act, Government Code
Section 54220, et seq., requires the City of Anaheim to offer said
real property to certain specified public agencies prior to any
disposition thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim as follows:
1. That the City hereby offers said real property for park,
recreational or open space purposes at its fair market value to the
County of Orange, the Orange County Harbors, Beaches and Parks Dis-
trict, the State Resources Agency, or the Orange County Housing
Authority;
2. That the fair market value of the property has been deter-
mined by the City Council to be Two Million, Forty -Five Thousand
Dollars ($2,045,000.00 and
3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to mail copies of
this Resolution to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange,
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange acting as the Board
of the Orange County Harbor, Beaches and Parks District, the State
Resources Agency, and the Orange County Housing Authority.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 1 th da, of S2'tember
1977.

Legal Description:
That portion of land allotted to Alfred B. Chapman in Decree of
Partition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana recorded in Book B
of Judgments of the 17th Judicial Court of California described
as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 2 in Tract No. 71, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 10, page 22, Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, said southeast corner of Lot 2 is also
shown on a map recorded in Book 30, page 34 of Parcel Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of said Orange County; thence N 13°
53' 45" E, 1,162.40 feet along the easterly line of said Lot 2 to
an intersection with the centerline of Orangewood Avenue; thence
following along the centerline of said Orangewood Avenue East
10.88 feet to the beginning of a curve concave southwesterly and
having a radius of 1,200 feet, a radial line bearing North passes
through said point; thence Southeasterly along said curve through
a central angle of 18° 01' 35" an arc distance of 378.59 feet to
an intersection with the northerly prolongation of the centerline
of Rampart Street; thence Southerly along said prolongation and
the centerline of said Rampart Street, a distance of 100 feet to
the beginning of a curve concave northeasterly and having a radius
of 500 feet, a radial line bearing S 89° 22' 28" W passes through
said point; thence Southeasterly along said curve through a central
angle of 41° 04' 25" an arc distance of 358.43 feet to the begin-
ning of a reverse curve concave southwesterly and having a radius
of 500 feet, a radial line bearing N 43° 18' 03" E passes through
said point of beginning of said reverse curve; thence Southeasterly,
Southerly and Southwesterly along said reverse curve through a cen-
tral angle of 59° 41' 41" an arc distance of 520.93 feet; thence
S 17° 59' 44" W, 160.24 feet to an intersection with the easterly
prolongation of the southerly line of the aforementioned Lot 2 in
said Tract No. 71; thence S 89° 53' 00" W, 845 feet, more or less,
along said prolongation to the point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom any portion thereof lying within Orangewood
Avenue and Rampart Street.
