A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 71R -502
AND ADOPTING A NEW FEE SCHEDULE OF THE NATIONAL
ELECTRICAL CODE, 1975 EDITION.
WHEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to Resolution No.
71R -502, adopted a fee schedule of the National Electrical Code,
1968 Edition; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does desire to repeal said
Resolution and adopt a new fee schedule for the National Elec-
trical Code, 1975 Edition; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City Council to adopt
a fee schdule for uniform codes by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 71R -502 is hereby repealed
and that the following fee schedule be, and the same is hereby,
adopted for the National Electrical Code:
NEW CONSTRUCTION
RESIDENTIAL: Single or Multi- family Dwellings. Fees listed in
the following paragraph for residential new construction include
all electrical installation when formula is applied to the square
footage of area.
One and one quarter cent ($.0125) per square foot,
plus $1.25 for each service meter, plus $3.00 for
permit issuance.
One -half cent ($.005) per square foot for detached
or attached garages on the same service.
HOTELS AND MOTELS: Use regular fee schedule for all areas except
garages.
One -half cent ($.005) per square foot for detached
or attached garages on the same service in hotel
and motel occupancies.
COMMERCIAL, INDUSTRIAL AND ASSEMBLIES: Use regular fee schedule
below.
REGULAR FEE SCHEDULE
Minimum permit fee of $3.00, plus $1.25 for each meter socket
on permit, plus fees as listed below for installations. (For
commercial meters, see schedule.)
Each self contained factory wired approved unit, such as heating
and cooking, commercial and domestic appliance, vegetable case,
drinking fountain, etc 2.00

Temporary work -with service (commercial /manufacturing) 5.00
NOTE:
Inspections for which no fee is herein prescribed,
minimum charge 3.00
Supplementary fee .50
A fee of $10.00 shall be paid for each annual Maintenance
Electrician Permit at the time such permit is issued. Fees
for all new work installed under such permit since date of
last previous inspection shall be paid according to the above
schedule at the time such work is inspected; these fees shall
be in addition to fee paid at the time annual permit is issued.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
