OF ANAHEIN DENYING VARIANCE 2860.
WUEREAS, after a request for variance by Dew Construc-
tion Company, Inc., owner; Omega Boats, Inc., agent, was received,
a public hearing before the Planning Com:dission of the City o
Anaheim was held upon due and proper notice, a result o: which
Variance No. 2860 was denied covering the following describe
Pro?erty:
All that certain land situated in the State of
California, County of Orange, City of Anaheim,
described as follows:
That Portion of the land shown as Navarro Tract
on a liaP showing tic partition of the :1. Yorba
Estate filed in Book 1, page 27 of Record of
Surveys in the Office of the County Recorder of
Orange County, California, described as follows:
Parcel No. 2 as shown on a L.lap filed in Book 49,
page 28 of Parcel '1,aps in the Office of the County
Recorder of said. Orange County.
WHEREAS, thereafter, within the time prescribed bv law,
an interested party or the City Council, on its own motion, caused
the review of said Planning Cormission action at a 1 healing
noticed and held as Prescribed by law and, as a result thereof,
the City Council does hereby make the foilcwing findings:
1. That there are no special circumstances applicable to
the property which do not apply to other property in the same vi-
cinity and zone.
2. That strict application of the zoning code does not de-
prive the property of privileges enjoyed by other property in the
same vicinity and zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said variance be, and the same is hereby,
denied.
