A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT TITLE
18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED AND THAT THE BOUND-
ARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES SHOULD BE CHANGED,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone
or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having
fixed a time and place for the holding of a public hearing
thereon in the manner nd as prescribed in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code, and after having duly held and conducted
such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone
or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from
persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its
opinions and reasons for recommending denial of said proposed
change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report •>f findings and recommendation of the City
P1=nning Commission, the City Council did fix the 30 h day of
anuar 19 68 as the time, and the Cityl Cham-
bers in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of s =id property, here-
inafter described, from the zone in which it is now situ =ted and
the incorporation thereof in the zones hereinafter set forth; and
did give notice thereof in the manner and form as provided in
said Title 18 of s id Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there
upon consider the summary of evidence presented at said public
hearing before the Planning Commission, its report of findings
and recommendations; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should
be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now situated;
and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby mended, and that all of the property
and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, described as followse

Parcel 1:
That portion of lot 4 in Block 12 of "Subdivision o tne
Soutn nalf of Section 21, Townsnip 4 Soutn, Range 10
S. L. B. being a part of the Fairview Colony Tract,
in tne County of Orande, State of California, as or man
recorded in Book 1, page 33 of iliscellaneous iaps, in the
Office of tne County Recorder of said County, described as
follows:
Beginning at tic intersection of tae north line of lot 4 in
said block 12 extended westerly with the center line of
Garden Grove Road (now Juclia venue), as shown on map;
thence easterly along said westerly extension and the said
north line of said lot 4, 210 feet; tnence South :parallel to
the center line of Garden Grove Road, 162 feet; thence west
parallel to tne north line of lot four, and its westerly
extension, 210 feet to a point in the center line of said
Garden Grove Road, thence along said center line 162 feet to

Colony Tract, partly in the City of Anaheim and partly in the
County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in
Book 1, age 33 of iiscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the
County Recorder of saic County included within the following
described land:
Beginning at a point in the centerline of Garden Grove Road,
now Euclid Avenue, as shown on said map, 162 feet south of
the intersection of said centerline with the north line of
saic Lot 4 extended westerly; thence East parallel to said
extended line and the north line of Lot 4, 210 feet to a point;
thence South parallel to the centerline of said Garden Grove
Road, 77 feet to a point; thence West parallel to the north
line of said Lot 4 and its westerly extension, 210 feet to a
point in the centerline of Garden Grove Road; thence North

That portion of Lot 4 in Block 12 of 'Subdivision of the South
half of Section 21, Township 4 South, Rance 10 West, San
Bernardino Base and Lieridian, being a part of the Fairview
Colony Tract, in the City of Anaheim. County of Orange, State
of California, as per map recorded in Book 1, page 33 of
Hiscellaneous Laps, in the Office of the County Recorder of
said County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Garden Grove Road
(now Euclid 1-venue) as shown on said map, 239 feet South of
the intersection of said center line with the North line of
said Lot 4 extended westerly; thence East, parallel to said
extended lino and the North line of Lot 4, 210 feet to a
point; thence South, parallel to the center line of said Garden
Grove Road, 77 feet to its intersection with a line parallel
to and 30 feet northerly from the North line of the South 10

conditions:
1. That the owners of subject property shall dead
to the City of Anaheim a strip of land 32 feet in width, from
the center line of the street, along iei1s Lane, including a
15-foot radius corner return, for street widening purposes.
2. That the owners of subject r:Iroperty shall dead
to the City of Anaheim a 25-foot radius corner return, for
street widening purposes, at the intersection of Euclid Street
and Cerritos Avenue.

tions on file in tne Office of the Clc Engineer.
7. That the cisting driveway d.epressions, which
are not proposed to be used, along :Ir11s Lane, Euclid Street
and Cerritos Avenue, shall be removed an replaced with curb
and gutter as recuired by the City Engineer, and in accordance
with standard plans and specifications on file in the Office of
the City Engineer.
That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance witn approved clans on file in the Office of the
Director of Public Works and Superintendent of Streets.
9. That all air-conditioning facilities shall be
properly shielded from view and the sound buffered from adja-
cent residential homes.
10. That all external lighting shall be directed
downward and away from adjacent property lines.
11. That there shall be no access on Melis Lane to
the commercial property within 7s feet of the residential area.
12. That Conditions Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 above-
mentioned saall be complied with within a oderiod of 100 days
from date aereof, or such further time as the City Council may
grant.
13. That Conditions Jos. 6, 7, d, 9, 10 and 11 above-

zoning inspections.
