A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT NO. 1017
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit from
Ruth C. Williams, c/o Les Calkins, P.O. Box, 736, Lodi, California,
to establish, a mobile home park on the following described
property.situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to wit:
All that real property located in the Rancho San Juan
Cajon de Santa Ana, City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the South line of Block "G" of
the Kraemer Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book
12, pages 87 and 88 of Miscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County, California, 44 feet Easterly from the
Southwest corner of the land now or formerly of W. R.
Carpenter in Block "G" of said Tract; thence North
73° 32' East along said South line of said block 1320
feet; thence South 16° 28' East 660 feet; thence South
73° 32' West 1320 feet; thence North 16° 28' West 660
feet to -the point of beginning, being the North 20 acres
of Lot 4 in Block "K" of said Kraemer Tract;
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion lying Northerly of the
Southerly line of the 60 foot strip of land conveyed to
the Orange County Flood Control District by deed recorded
October 19, 1960 in Book 5469, page 487 of Official Records
of said Orange County.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon
said request on Ap i g 9 notices of which
said public hearing were di lly g as required by law and the
provisions of. Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code;. and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, in-
vestigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and
after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at
said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. PC68 87
denying Conditional Use Permit No. 1017
and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty -two (22) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal
was filed with the City Council protesting the action of the
City Planning Commission in denying said Conditional
Use Permit and said appeal was set for public hearing on
residents in said area for the purposes for which they are
intended, and that they are adequate for the construction of
said public improvement and should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the detailed designs, plans, profiles,
drawings and specifications for said public improvement herein
above mentioned and described, be, and the same are hereby,
approved and adopted as prepared by said Public Works
Department
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said public improvement
shall be constructed in accordance with said detailed designs,
plans, profiles, drawings and specifications as prepared by said
Public Works Department and hereby
approve., an such a•denda or modi i.cations thereto as may be
approved prior to the awarding of bids therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to
publish a notice according to law, inviting sealed proposals for
the furnishing of all plant, labor, services, materials and
equipment, and all utilities and transportation, including power,
fuel and water, and performing all work necessary to construct
and complete, in a good and workmanlike manner, in strict accor-
dance with said detailed designs, plans, profiles, drawings and
specifications as prepared by said Public Works Department
the public improvement hereinabove men-
tioned and described, and fixing the 6th day of June
19 68 at the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M. as the date and hour
for the opening of said bids at the City Council Chamber in the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and that said notice shall be
published twice, the first of which publications shall be at
least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of
bids, and that said publications shall be at least five (5) days
apart.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the successful bidder
or bidders shall be required to enter into a contract with the
City of Anaheim in the manner and form approved by the City
Attorney of the City of Anaheim for the construction, installa-
tion and completion of said public improvement hereinabove
mentioned and described, in accordance with the_plans and speci-
fications prepared by said Public Works Deartment
the notice inviting sealed proposals,
this resolution and all applicable City Ordinances or Code
Sections and the laws of the State of California, and shall be
required to post bonds and insurance in the amounts and within
the time required by law, as specified in the notice inviting
sealed proposals, and in a form approved by the City Attorney.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me

May 21 1968 at the City Hall, in the City
of Anaheim, and notices of such public hearing were duly given
as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter
18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the-City Council did duly hold and conduct such
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful
consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission and all evidence and 'reports offered at said hear-
ing, that Conditional Use Permit No. 1n17 should be denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Com-
mission denying Conditional Use1Permit No. 1017 be,
and the same is hereby sustained and that the request of
Ruth C. Williams for a conditional use permit to establish a
mobile home park on the property hereinbefore described, be, and
the same is hereby denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
