90-098 RESOLUTION NO. 90R-98 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN DESIG- NATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 271, EXHIBIT "A." WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, on the 4th day of December, 1989, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan Amendment does consider changing the land use designation for the area of land consisting of approximately 45.04 acres located south and west of the southwest corner of Old Canal Road and Weir Canyon Road having approximate frontages of 623 feet on the west side of Pullman Street, having a maximum depth of approximately 3,300 feet and further described as 1001 to 1100 Pullman Street (Marketfaire at Anaheim); and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC89-292 containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said hearing, and recommending that said Amendment to the General Plan designated as Amendment No. 271 be adopted by the City Council changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed area to "GENERAL COMMERCIAL" in accordance with Exhibit "A"; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 13th day of March, 1990, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the Civic Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed Amendment No. 271 GENERAL COMMERCIAL and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that Amendment No. 271 changing the land use designation in the aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with the City should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 271 to the General Plan changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed area to "COMMERCIAL GENERAL" in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with the City be, and the same is hereby, approved. GPA No. 271 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be, and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan Map to conform to General Plan Amendment No. 271 as herein adopted and approved.
