A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM OF THE TERRITORY KNOWN AND DESIGNATED
FEE ANA STREET ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, a petition for the proposed annexation
designated "Fee Ana Street Annexation to the City of Anaheim"
in the County of Orange was heretofore filed by the Orange
County Water District "chief petitioner and accepted for
filing on January 4, 1979, by the Executive Officer of the
Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County, Cali-
fornia "Commission pursuant to Part 2 of Title 4, Division
2, commencing with Section 35000 et seq. of the Government
Code; and
WHEREAS, the distinctive short form designation
assigned by the Commission to the territory proposed to be
annexed is: FEE ANA STREET ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM;
and
WHEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to
the City of Anaheim consists of approximately 0.08 acre of
land, and the exterior boundaries thereof are specifically
described in the legal description attached hereto, marked
Exhibit "A" and by this reference made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the reasons for the proposed annexation to
the City of Anaheim as set forth in the proposal thereof sub-
mitted to the Commission by the chief petitioner are as
follows:
Said annexation was required by the City of
Anaheim as a condition of the abandonment of Fee
Ana Street southerly of the south line of this
annexation in order that the chief petitioner
could complete a cul -de -sac for Fee Ana Street
and dedicate said cul -de -sac to the City of Anaheim.
WHEREAS, said Commission adopted its Resolution
No. 79 -22 on February 14, 1979, authorizing the City of
Anaheim to annex said territory without notice and hearing
and without an election pursuant to the authority vested in
said Commission by Section 54797.1 of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to
said City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange,
State of California, and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim,

and is uninhabited territory. That said consent contained a
description of said territory in words and figures as herein-
after in this resolution described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
is authorized to approve said annexation by resolution
without notice and hearing pursuant to the approval of said
Commission and Section 54797.1 of the Government Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim finds:
1. That the chief petitioner submitted proof
satisfactory to the Commission that all of the owners of land
within the territory proposed to be annexed have given their
signed consent to such annexation. That said territory pro-
posed to be annexed to said City of Anaheim is situated in the
County of Orange, State of California, and is contiguous to
the City of Anaheim, and is uninhabited territory. That said
consent signed by all of the owners of land within the terri-
tory proposed to be annexed contained a description of said
territory in words and figures as hereinafter in this
resolution described.
2. That the chief petitioner filed said request
to annex said territory, containing the specific boundaries
of the territory to be annexed, with the Local Agency Formation
Commission and said Local Agency Formation Commission approved
said annexation request pursuant to Section 54797.1 of the
Government Code.
3. That on the 14th day of February, 1979, the
Commission duly adopted Resolution do. 79 -22 in which said Com-
mission authorized the City of Anaheim to annex said territory
in accordance with Section 54797.1 of the Government Code and
further approved such annexation of said territory without
notice or hearing by the City Council and without the require-
ment that an election be held by the City on the question of
said annexation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the annexation of the
territory included within the boundaries of the FEE ANA STREET
ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, more particularly described
on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and incorporated herein by
this reference is hereby approved and said territory is hereby
annexed to and incorporated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, and is hereby designated as the
FEE ANA STREET ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the date
of the adoption of this resolution and the filing of a
certified copy thereof with the Secretary of State of the
State of California, the annexation of the territory herein
described shall be deemed to be and shall be complete and
thenceforth such annexed territory shall be, to all intents
and purposes, a part of the City of Anaheim, and from and
after the effective date of such annexation, all property
therein shall be subject to taxation equally with the property
within the City of Anaheim and shall be taxed to pay its
proportionate share of the existing indebtedness and liability
of said City of Anaheim contracted prior to or existing at the
time of such annexation pursuant to the written consent of the
owners of property in said annexed territory filed with the
Clerk of the City of Anaheim prior to the adoption of this
resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 27th day of
March, 1979.

Fee Ana Street Annexation to
the City of Anaheim
That portion of Lot 20 in Block 36 of the Yorba Linda Tract, in
the County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in
Book 5, pages 17 and 18 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary of the City
of Anaheim, said point being the intersection of the southerly
line of the La Palma -Fee Ana Annexation as created by Ord. No.
2752 with the easterly line of the Northeast Annexation No. 3 as
created by Ord. No. 1542, said point also being the northwest
corner of said lot 20 in block 36 of the Yorba Linda Tract;
thence along said southerly line of the La Palma -Fee Ana Annexation
N. 89° 48' 07" E., 28.00 feet to a line parallel with and 28.00
feet easterly from said easterly line of the Northeast Annexation
No. 3; thence along said parallel line S. 0° 12' 45" E., 127.00
feet; thence S. 89° 48' 07" W., 28.00 feet to said easterly line;
thence along said easterly line N. 0° 12' 45" W., 127.00 feet to
the point of beginning.
