Anaheim and Orange; and
WHEREAS, the construction of Serrano Avenue as

in the area, and residential frontages along the reduced road-
way could be severely impacted with traffic noise and
congestion; and
-1-
WHEREAS, the construction of Serrano Avenue to
arterial highway standards would result in restricted access

preserving the integrity of residential neighborhoods adjacent
to the roadway; and
WHEREAS, Serrano Avenue as it presently exists in
the Cities of Anaheim and Orange is constructed as a secondary
arterial highway; and
WHEREAS, the need to maintain Serrano Avenue as a

recommend deletion of the Serrano Avenue extension from the
MPAH.
