A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM MAKING ENVIRONMENTAL FINDINGS NECESSARY
FOR THE PROPOSED PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND ROBERT EUGENE
BENTLEY AND SHARON LYNN BENTLEY FOR THE SALE AND
DEVELOPMENT OF THAT CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED
AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF LINCOLN AVENUE AND
HARBOR BOULEVARD IN REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT ALPHA.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency
has prepared an Initial Study of the environmental impact of the
proposed Participation Agreement (the "Agreement between the
Agency and Robert Eugene Bentley and Sharon Lynn Bentley; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim (the
"City Council has reviewed and considered the Initial Study,
the Final Environmental Impact Report for Redevelopment Project
Alpha (the "Project and the Final Subsequent Environmental
Impact Report for the Second Amendment to the Project; and
WHEREAS, the Agency has found on the basis of the
Initial Study that the environmental impact of the proposed Agree-
ment is essentially the same as those in the previous Environmental
Impact Reports; and that there is no additional information or
data available requiring supplementation of the previous Environ-
mental Impact Reports; and
WHEREAS, said Initial Study conforms to the require-
ments of the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 (Public
Resources Code, Section 21000 et seq.), the "Guidelines for the
Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act of
1970 as amended, adopted by the Secretary for Resources of the
State of California, and the Procedures for Implementation of the
California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 adopted by resolution
of the Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim as follows:
The City Council hereby finds and determines that:
(a) Neither the approval nor the implementation of the
proposed Agreement will cause substantial changes in
the Redevelopment Project, or with respect to the
circumstances under which the Project is to be under-
taken, which will require major revisions in the
Environmental Impact Reports previously adopted for
the Project due to the involvement of new environ-
mental impacts not covered in said previous
Environmental Impact Reports;

(b) The Initial Study is approved and no Subsequent
Environmental Impact Report for Supplement to an
Environmental Impact Report is necessary or
required; and
(c) The proposed action will have no significant effect
on the environment, except as identified and
considered in the previous Environmental Impact
Reports.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 13th day of
February, 1979.
