90-077 RESOLUTION NO. 90R-77
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceedings
No. 89-90-38 to consider an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code relating to zoning, and to consider a change in the
boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described
and, at said hearing, did receive evidence and reports from persons
interested therein and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
said hearing, the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing and granted, in part, the proposed
amendment; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within the time prescribed by law,
an interested party or the City Council, on its own motion, caused
the review of said Planning Commission action; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to
be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and did consider
the same; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or zones
in which it is now situated to a different zone, as hereinafter set
forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in which it is now
incorporated and that a change of zone should not be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows:
Area A
Approximately 2.07 acres consisting of parcels located
on the east side of Western Avenue, beginning
approximately 160 feet south of the centerline of
Teranimar Drive and extending south approximately 300
feet, having a maximum depth of approximately 276 feet
and further described as 850-910 South Western Avenue.

Area B
Approximately 4.39 acres consisting of those 9 parcels
located on the north side of Ball Road, beginning
approximately 290 feet west of the centerline of
Halliday Street and extending west approximately 655
feet, having a maximum depth of approximately 290 feet
and further described as 3087-3131 West Ball Road,
shall not be reclassified.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 15th day of March, 1990.
