A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF A SUBGRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE ORANGE COUNTY
MANPOWER COMMISSION AND AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT AND MODIFICATIONS THERETO ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM (Subgrant Agreement
No. H80110, DOL Grant #06- 0032 -05)
WHEREAS, the Orange County Manpower Commission has
received a grant from the United States Department of Labor,
Employment and Training Administration under Title I of the
Comprehensive Employment and Training Act Amendments (CETA)
of 1978, as amended (P.L. 95 -524); and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has met the requirements
for an Administrative Cost Pooling Subgrant and is willing to
conduct a CETA program; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Manpower Commission agrees
to appropriate $689,232 to the City of Anaheim for its use in
conducting and operating such a program; and
WHEREAS, a Subgrant Agreement has been prepared, the
terms and conditions of which are acceptable to the City Council
of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and
conditions of said Agreement are hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
said Agreement and modifications thereto on behalf of the City
of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 23rd
day of October 1979
