A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
AND ABANDON CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS AND FIXING
A DATE FOR A HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
hereby elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941 (Section 8300 et seq., Streets and Highway
Code) in connection with requests for vacation and abandonment
of public streets located within the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby declare its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use the following described
streets, to wit:
Those certain portions of the Santa Ana Canyon Road
and adjacent slope easements located generally:
(a) along the north side of Santa Ana Canyon Road
from Weir Canyon Road to a point approximately
2000 feet westerly thereof;
(b) along the north side of Santa Ana Canyon Road
from Weir Canyon Road to a point approximately
800 feet easterly thereof; and
(c) along the south side of Santa Ana Canyon Road
from a point along the east line of the south-
erly prolongation of Weir Canyon Road to a point
approximately 300 feet easterly thereof,
as said streets are shown on a map or plan on file in the Office
of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these proceedings are under-
taken subject to the following reservations and exceptions in
favor of the following persons or parties:
Reserving unto the Pacific Telephone Company and the
Southern California Edison Company over (a) and (b)
above described, easements for public utility purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all persons interested in
or objecting to said vacation and abandonment will be heard at a
public hearing to be held at 3:00 o'clock P.M., or as soon there-
after as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chamber in the
City Hall, 204 East Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California, on:
October 30, 1979

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify
to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be
published in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circula-
tion, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 9th day October, 1979.
