1979-520RESOLUTION NO. 7 9R- 520 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED TO THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF CERTAIN CITY PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS. WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency has acquired certain real property for purposes of redevelopment; and WHEREAS, said real property is to be conveyed to Watt Commercial Properties, Incorporated, pursuant to the terms of a Disposition and Development Agreement; and WHEREAS, portions of said real property are subject to public utility easements in favor of the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has no present or prospec- tive use for said public utility easements and all electrical facilities have been removed therefrom; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 36 the City of Anaheim has agreed to cooperate with the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency in the implementation of Redevelopment Project Alpha. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby agree to quitclaim to the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency those certain easements described in Exhibit A attached hereto. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said quitclaim deed on behalf of the City of Anaheim. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 1101 day of September, 1979.
