DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS OF CERTUN PROPERTY OF
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY IN SAID
PORTIONS OF SAID CITY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM:
SECTION 1. It is hereby fcpund and determined that the
public interest and necessity requir. the acquisition, construc-
tion and completion of a public utility extension and public im-
provement, consisting of electric li~t, heat and power lines and
works in the City of Anaheim as hereinafter more particularly
described in the appendix attached h~eto and by this reference
made a part hereof, to be used for and necessary for:
(1) The transmission and distribution of electricity
for the purpose of furnishing and supplying
electric light, heat and pOWer to the City of
Anaheim and certain of the inhabitants thereof;
and
(2) The proper development and control of such
use of such electricity, at this time, and
the future proper development and control thereof,
as a part of the electrical system owned and operated by the City
of Anaheim for furnishing and supplyllng electrical energy to said
City and certain of the inhabitants thereof.
SECTION 2. The public interest and necessity require
the taking and acquisition by the City of Anaheim for said public
utility extension and public improvement and use, of the electric
light, heat and power distribution and communication system of the
Southern California Edison Company located within said certain
portions of/the City of Anaheim, as shown on Appendix 1, Sheets 1
to 50, both inclusive, attached here~o, including:

ITEM 3
All commercial and engineering ~aps and records of said
Southern California Edison Comp~y used or useful in
locating, identifying and operating the above described
properties or any part thereof, sought to be condemned,
meter records, transformer reco~ds, billing records,
service records, consumers' service records, and all
other records necessary or convenient in recording,
billing or collecting for electric service in said
certain portions of the City of Anaheim and for main-
taining said distribution system and each and every
part thereof, sought to be condemned.
The City Council hereby finds that the taking of the
property described above is necessary for the said public utility
extension and public improvement.
SECTION 3. Said public i~rovement is planned and
located in the manner which will be Ilost compatible with the
greatest public good and the least private injury.
SECTION 4. The City Attoney of the City of Anaheim
is hereby directed to bring an action in the Superior Court of
the State of California, in and for the County of Orange, in the
name of the City of Anaheim to condemn by eminent domain pro-
ceedings the property described in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 5. For the purposes of bringing such an
action, the City Attorney is hereby empowered to incur, in the
name of and on behalf of said City, all obligations and expenses
incidental thereto.
