1967-361 RESOLUTION NO. 67R- 361 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COm~CIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIH AUTHORIZING A THIRD Al\IEND- ~lliNT TO THAT CERTAIN AGREE~IENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF N~AHEIM a~D SAFETY STRIPING SERVICE, DATED AUGUST 7, 1964, p~D DIRECTING THE I~YOR Ai"\fD CITY CLEPJ\ TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEl"lENT. VJHEREAS, a contract was entered into bet'ltleen the City of Anaheim and Safety Striping Service as of the 7th day of August, 1964, providing for the employment of Safety Striping Service to do all the work and furnish all the material neces- sary to apply painted traffic stripes, pavement markings and devices on various City Streets in the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, said agreement was extended, in accordance with its terms as modified on June 29, 1965, to June 30, 1966, and again on June 28, 1966 to and including June 30, 1967; and v~IEREAS, the parties to said contract desire that said contract be further extended, in accordance with its terms, as modified by the estimated total contract price for the fiscal year of 1967-68. NOW, THEP~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that a third amendment to the agreement between the City of Anaheim and Safety Striping Service, dated August 7, 1964, be made and entered into between the parties to said agreement, providing as follows: That that certain contract entered into August 7, 1964, and amended on June 29, 1965, and again on June 28, 1966, be extended as modified to and including June 30, 1968, and to expire on said June 30, 1968, unless further extended by the parties thereto, subject to the following modification: Referring to Article II of said contract, there shall be deleted therefrom the individual approximate quantities and the individual total prices of each item listed from Items 1 through 12, and the final total price of $11,974.50. There shall be no individual item totals, however, the total contract price for the fiscal year 1967-68 shall be estimated to be $17,000.00. Said modification shall have no effect upon the individual unit price figures for each item listed in Article II of said contract. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Hayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to sign said second amendment to agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
