1967-329RESOLUTION NO. 67R -329 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR A GRANT DEED. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes and WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of GEORGE E. TABER and GEORGIA B. TABER, husband and wife; and VIRGINIA L. VAUGEOIS, a married woman, dealing with her sole and separate property, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes and more particularly described as follows: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across that portion of Vineyard Lot B -2 as shown on a Map of Anaheim recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and 630 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of said lot, being also the intersection of the Easterly line of Olive Street, 49.50 feet wide, with the Northerly line of Sycamore Street, 49.50 feet wide, as shown on said Map; thence Easterly along said Northerly line, 52.72 feet to the Southeasterly corner of the land conveyed to George E. Taber et al. by deed recorded November 27, 1964, in Book 7317, page 815 of Official Records; thence North- erly along the Easterly line of said land to a in a line parallel with and distant Northerly 7.25 feet, as measured at right angles, from said Northerly line of Sycamore Street; thence Westerly along said parallel line, 37.70 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence Northwesterly along said curve, through a central angle of 90° 04' 38 an arc distance of 23.58 feet to a point in said Easterly line of Olive Street; thence Southerly along last -said Easterly line, 22.27 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
