1967-3221 c7; 322 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TLE CITY OF ANAHLI DENYING VARIANCB NO. 1861. WLEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a petition for zoning variance from LOTUS H. LOUDON and VICTORIA I. LOUDON, and ALVIN R. BAKER and EVA M. BAKER, owners of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, de- scribed as follows: The Westerly one-half of Original Building Lot No. 3 in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as :oer map recorded in Book 4, at page 629 and 630 of Deeds of Records of Los Angeles County. That portion of Original Building Lot 4 of Anaheim, as per map recorded in Book 4, Pages 629 and 630 of Deeds, in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California described as follows: Beginning at a point in the Westerly line of said Lot 4, distant 28-1/2 feet North of the Southwest corner of said lot; thence Northerly along said. Westerly line, 50 feet, thence Easterly, parallel with Sycamore Street, 3-1/2 rods to the Easterly line of said lot; thence Southerly along said Easterly line, 50 feet to a point 28-1/2 feet Northerly of the Southeasterly corner of said lot; thence Westerly 8-1/2 rods to the point of beginning. Adele Streets, running thence Northerly along the line of Lemon Street 50 feet, thence Easterly 140 feet; thence Southerly 50 feet, thence Westerly 140 feet to beginning. AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission dill hold a public hearing at the City all in the City of Anaheim on Zarch 27, 1967, notice of which said public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions. of Title 12, Chapter 10.76 of the Anaheim 1junicipal Code; and WHEET,AS, said City Plannind Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did aCopt Resolution No. PC67-31, denying, by operation of law, Variance NO. 1361, and rELaEAs, thereafter, within twenty-two (22) CLayzi from the date of the adoption of sai resolution, a written appeal was filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim protest- ing the action of the City Planning Commission denying said variance, and said appeal was set for public hearing on June 13, 1967, at 7:00 o'clock P.N. at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 10.76 of the na1ei Nunicipai Code; anC =E-;S, after Cue investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the evidence and reports offered at said hearing, the City Council does find and determine that. 1. There is no substantial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone and denied the subject property. 2. It appears that the subject property can be adequately developed and used under the present zone. row, THEREFORE, 'n r. Loudon, and Alvin R. and Eva Y. Faker for a zoning variance permitting the establishm=ent of a 17--- story high-rise apartment building for senior citizens, with waivers of the following Anaheim _Iunicipal Code requirements and limitations: (a) :ii.inimum parking spaces (Section 13.28.050(10-a. c)) (b) JLinimum building site area per dwelling unit (Section 13.32.050(2)), (c) Ninimum floor area per dwelling unit (Section 18.28.050(3-a)); (d) building height (Section 18.28.050(5-a)), and (e) r "inimum recreational floor area Section 18.32.050 (4. -a)) on the property hereinbefore described, be, and the same is hereby denied.
