A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF A POLE LINE LICENSE AGREE
MENT WITH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY.
WHEREAS, Southern California Edison Company, a corpo-
ration, has tendered to the City of Anaheim a Pole Line License
Agreement to be made and entered into between the parties as of
the 6th day of April, 1967, giving to the City a license to con-
struct, maintain, use, operate, repair, replace and /or remove,
upon and subject to the terms, covenants and conditions set
forth in said agreement, to attach distribution facilities to
three (3) Southern California Edison Company poles numbers
1229952E, 1229954E and 1229956E, for conveying electricity in,
through, on and /or over that certain real property owned by
Southern California Edison Company in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The Westerly 15 feet of the Easterly 265 feet of the
Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of the
Northeast quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as per map
recorded in Book 51, page 11, of Miscellaneous Maps
in the office of the County Recorder of said County
of Orange.
SUBJECT TO covenants, conditions, restrictions, reser-
vations, exceptions, rights and easements, whether of
record or not, including, but not in limitation of the
generality of the foregoing the following:
The reservation for roads, railroads and ditches over
the South 15 feet of said land and the reservation of
the use and control of cienegas and natural streams of
water, if any, naturally upon, flowing across, into or
by said tract, and the right of way for an to construct
irrigation or drainage ditches through said tract to
irrigate or drain the adjacent land, as reserved by The
Stearns Ranchos Company by deeds recorded May 12, 1093
in Book 81, page 191 of Deeds and recorded September 18,
1895 in Book 87, page 286 of Deeds.
An easement for road purposes over the South 20 feet of
said land, as conveyed to the County of Orange by deed
recorded January 1 1928 in Book 119, page 375 of
Official Records.
AND WHEREAS, said license was issued to eliminate
duplication of facilities in connection with proposed Condemna-
tion No. 4 of Southern California Edison Company facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is for the
benefit and best interest of the City to enter into said Pole
Line License Agreement with Southern California Edison Company
and that the same should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Pole Line License Agreement
tendered to the City by Southern California Edison Company to

be made and entered into between the parties as of April 6,
1967, giving to the City a license to construct, maintain, use,
operate, repair, replace and /or remove, upon and subject to the
terms, covenants and conditions set forth in said agreement, to
attach distribution facilities to three (3) Southern California
Edison Company poles numbers 1229952E, 1229954E and 1229956E,
for conveying electricity in, through, on and /or over that
certain real property owned by Southern California Edison Com-
pany hereinabove described, be, and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 23rd day of May, 1967.
