RESOLUTION NO. 67R -239
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did heretofore enter
into an escrow with Orange County Water District at First
American Title Insurance Trust Company, for the exchange of
certain real property owned by the City of Anaheim for the
hereinafter described real property in the City of Anaheim
owned by Orange County Water District; and
WHEREAS, said First American Title Insurance Trust
Company is now ready to close said escrow, and a deed has been
prepared conveying said property owned by Orange County Water
District to the City of Anaheim free and clear of all encum-
brances except all general and special taxes for the fiscal
year 1967 -68, not yet payable, and all covenants, conditions,
restrictions, reservations, rights, rights of way and easements
of record, if any.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the deed conveying the following
described property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:
That portion of Fractional Section 4, Township 4 South,
Range 9 West, S.B.B. M., described as follows:
That portion of the land described in the Deed to Orange
County Water District, recorded July 23, 1965 in Book
7604, Page 431, of Official Records, lying Northwesterly
of a line parallel and concentric with and distant
Southeasterly 53.00 feet from the following described
line:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of
La Palma Avenue 106 feet wide, with the center line of
Jefferson Street, said center line of Jefferson Street
being the West line of Fractional Section 4, Township
4 South, Range 9 West, S.B.B. M., thence South
87° 43' 14" East 500.00 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave Northwesterly having a radius of
1200.00 feet; thence Easterly and Northeasterly along
said curve through a central angle of 51 29' 54" an
arc distance of 1078.58 feet; thence North 40° 46' 52"
East 540.05 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Southeasterly having a radius of 1600.00 feet;
thence Northerly and Easterly along said curve through
a central angle of 49° 46' 45" an arc distance of
1390.10 feet to the intersection with the center line
of Coronado Street (formerly Walnut Street), 60.00
feet wide; thence South 89° 26' 23" East along the
center line of said Coronado Street, 436.43 feet to the
intersection with the center line of Richfield Road,
50.00 feet in width; thence South 89° 26' 46" East along

said center line of Coronado Street 794.32 feet to the
intersection with the East line of Fee Ana Street, 60
feet in width.
PARCEL 2:
That portion of Fractional Section 4, Township 4 South,
Range 9 West, S.B.B. M., described as follows:
That portion of the land described in the deed to Orange
County Water District, a political corporation, recorded
December 30, 1965 in Book 7791, Page 967 of Official
Records, that is included within a strip of land, 53.00
feet in width, the Northwesterly line of said strip being
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of
La Palma Avenue 106 feet wide, with the center line of
Jefferson Street, said center line of Jefferson Street
being the West line of Fractional Section 4, Township 4
South, Range 9 West, S.B.B. M.; thence South 87° 43' 14"
East 500.00 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Northwesterly having a radius of 1200.00 feet;
thence Easterly and Northeasterly along said curve
through a central angle of 51° 29' 54" an arc distance
of 1078.58 feet; thence North 40° 46' 52" East 540.05
feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave South-
easterly having a radius of 1600.00 feet; thence Northerly
and Easterly along said curve through a central angle of
49° 46' 45" an arc distance of 1390.10 feet to the
intersection with the center line of Coronado Street

to the City of Anaheim, free and clear of all encumbrances,
except as hereinabove set forth, be, and the same is hereby
accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
