desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
RESOLUTION NO. 67R
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASL,iLNT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
WILLIAM C. O'RIELLY and PATRICIA J. O'RIELLY,
husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Vineyard Lot G-6, as
shown on a jiap recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and 630 of
Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Harbor Boulevard,
formerly known as Palm Street, with the centerline of Santa
Ana Street; thence Southerly along said centerline of Harbor
Boulevard, 164.50 feet; thence at right angles to said center-
line of Harbor Boulevard, 45 feet to a point on a line that is
parallel with and distant 45 feet Westerly of said centerline;
thence Northerly along said parallel line, 114.68 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave Southwesterly, and having
a radius of 15 feet; thence Northerly and Westerly along said
curve through a central angle of 90 07' 30" an arc distance
of 23.59 feet to a point on a line that is parallel with and
distant 34.75 feet Southerly of the centerline of Santa Ana
Street; thence Northerly at right angles to said parallel line,
34.75 feet to a point on the centerline of said Santa Ana
Street, said point being Westerly, 60.11 feet from the point
of beginning; thence Easterly along said centerline, 60.11
feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
