A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO, 1854
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a petition for zoning variance from
Charles R. Laraway, owner
o, cer ain rea property s ua e n t e ity o Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13,
14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27
and 28 in Tract No. 3095, as shown on
a map recorded in Book 122, Page 25 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
February 27 19 67, notice of which said public hearing
was duly given as requireTby law and the provisions of Title 18,
Chapter 18,76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due
inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its
behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports
offered at said hearing, did adopt Resolution No, PC67-45, £er -its
49 denying Variance No. 1854 and
WHEREAS, therafter, within twenty- two .(22) from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal
was filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting
the action of the City Planning Commission denyin& said
variance, and said appeal was set for public hearing on
April 4 19 67 at 7:00 oeclock P.M. at the City
Hall in the City of Ana a m, and notice of such public hearing
was duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18,
Chapter 18,76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by
itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the
evidence and reports offered at said hearing, the City Council
does find and determine that:

1. There is no substantial property right_possessed
by other property in the same vicinity and zone
and denied the subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property can be
adequately developed and used under the present
zone.
NOW, THERErORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission

denying Variance No. 1854 be, and the same is hereby sustained;
and that the petition of Charles R. Laraway for a zoning
variance permitting the twenty -one existing R -3 Lots, herein
before described, to be split into forty -two lots, with waivers
of the Anaheim Municipal Code minimum lot width and minimum lot
area requirements on said lots, be, and the same is hereby
denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 4th day of April, 1967.
