A RLSOLUTIO v OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DETERMITNING A PRIMARY
•lETERING CORRECTION FACTOR AT BUILDINGS
65 AND 70 OF TUBE NORTH Ai RICAN AVIATION,
INC. AUTONETICS DIVISION.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim supplies electrical energy
to Autonetics' Buildings 65 and 70 and said electrical energy is
distributed to Autonetics through a primary metering installation
and City owned transformers; and
WHEREAS, said installation has been in existence since
WHEREAS, said metering installation at Buildings 65 and
70 is not in conformity with normal utility metering sequence and
the existing installation results in Autonetics paying for trans-
former losses; and
WHEREAS, said metering installation is not in conformity
with present City rules and regulations, nor common utility
metering and billing practices and would not be installed in the
existing manner again; and
WHEREAS, it is to the mutual benefit of both City and
Autonetics in simplification of the metering installation and the
deferment of expenditures in modifying said metering installation;
and
WHEREAS, both City and Autonetics agree that a correction
should be made for those transformer losses resulting from said
metering installation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that a primary metering correction factor at
Buildings 65 and 70 of north American Aviation, Inc. Autonetics
Division shall be determined in the following manner:
The kilowatt hours actually used, as read on the
meter, will be divided by the product of the
maximum demand as read on the demand meter, times
the number of clays since the last reading, times
twenty -four hours; the quotient resulting in a
value R which represents the average loading of the
transformer. The value R as shown on Exhibits 1A,
li3, 1C, and 1D, attached hereto and made a part hereof,
will be used to determine the correction factor R.
Said correction factor :K will be multiplied by the
actual reading of kilowatt hours, demand, and reactive
power to arrive at the reading for billing purposes.
LE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim will
allow a credit to Autonetics for one -half of the billings as
adjusted by the above correction factor for Buildings 65 and 70
from January 1, 1966 to the date of this resolution. The correc-
tion factor shall apply to all billings for Buildings 65 and 70
from the irate of this resolution or until a change is made.
