1967-140RESOLUTION NO. 67R- 140 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DEDICATING CERTAIN PUBLIC -OWNED PARK LAND FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore acquired, through eminent domain and otherwise, certain real property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim for park pur- poses; and WHEREAS, said property is located on the Northeast corner of Sunkist Street and Underhill Avenue in the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, it is indicated and anticipated that one of the pipelines of the metropolitan Water District will be con- structed along Sunkist Street in the immediate vicinity of said park property and that said Metropolitan Water District will require some formal permission from the City of Anaheim to permit the installation of its pipeline in said vicinity; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interests of the City of Anaheim, especially in the light of anticipated future developments in the area, to dedicate a portion of its park property as an easement for road and public utility purposes, and thereafter grant a permit to said Metropolitan Water District to lay its pipeline within such dedicated area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that it dedicate, and it does hereby dedicate, as an easement for road and public utility purposes, the follow- ing described land situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, more particularly described as follows: That portion of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 12, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at a point distant South 0° 41' 30" West 1,057.75 feet from the Northwest corner of the North- west quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 12, said Northwest corner, for the purpose of this description, being the centerline intersection of La Palma Avenue and Sunkist Street, as shown on a Record of Survey filed in Book 66, page 23 of Record of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California; thence South 89° 35' 00" East 57.00 feet; thence South 0° 41' 30" West 240.39 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence Southerly and East- erly along said curve through a central angle of 90 an arc distance of 23.56 feet; thence South 0° 41' 30" West 8.75 feet to an intersection with the South line of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 12; thence North 89° 34' 32" West 72.00 feet to an intersection with the West line of the -1- Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 12; thence North 0 41' 30" East 264.20 feet to the point of beginning. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby authorized and directed to record a certified copy of this Resolution in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange.
