A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ELECTRIC POWER
POLES, LINES, CROSS-ARMS, ETC.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for electric
power poles lines, cross-arms, etc.
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of MARJORIE W. MORLOCK,
a single woman; WALTER B. MORLOCK and HORACE E. MORLOCK, both
married men dealing with their sole and separate property,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for electric
power poles, lines, cross-arms, etc.
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for the installation and maintenance of
electric power poles, lines, cross-arms and incidental
equipment over and across that portion of the tract
of first class land alloteci to Jesus Wilson de Shorb
by final decree of partition of the Rancho Canon de
Santa Ana described in the Final Decree of Distribu-
tion recorded May 25, 1964 in Book 7058, page 613 of
Official Records of said County, lying within a strip
of land 10.00 feet in width, the Northerly line of
said 10.00 foot strip being described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Westerlv line of
that portion of said first class land described in said
Final Decree of Distribution, with a line parallel with
and distant Northerly 75.00 feet, as measured at right
angles, from the centerline of the pavement of Orange-
thorpe Avenue, formerly Placentia-Yorba Boulevard
(said centerline of the pavement being Southerly 30
feet, measured at right angles, from the Northerly line
of the 50 foot strip described in the deed to the County
of Orange, recorded January 6, 1916 in Book 280, page
151 of Deeds, records of said County), thence South 78°
18' East, along said parallel line, to a point in the
Easterly line of said land described in said Final
Decree of Distribution.
(The Westerly 5.00 feet of the Southerly 5.00 feet of
said 10.00 foot strip shall be a ground easement for
power poles, and the remainder of said 10.00 foot strip
shall be an overhang easement only, for power lines and
cross-arms.)

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
