A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT E =iPLOYING iANUEL P.
VII NDEZ, ARCHITECT, A.I.A., TO RENDER ARCHI-
TECTURAL SERVICES IN <CONNECTION WITH THE CON-
STRUCTION OF IODIFICATIONS ADDITIONS AND
ALTERATIONS TO THE ANAHEIM POLICE DEPARTMENT
BUILDING.
WHEREAS, the City desires to construct modifications,
additions and alterations to the Anaheim Police Department Build-
ing; and
WHEREAS, the City is in need of architectural services
in connection with the construction of said modifications, addi-
tions and alterations to said Police Department Building; and.
WHEREAS, Manuel P. Mendez, Architect, is qualified to
render such architectural services to the City, including the
general administration and supervision of the construction work,
and desires to be employed for such purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to secure the services of
said architect in the preparation of the plans and specifications
for said Police Department Building; and
WHEREAS, a form of agreement, dated December 2G, 1967,
has this day been submitted to the City Council to be made and
entered into by and between Manuel P. Mendez, Architect, A.I.A.,
and the City of Anaheim, providing for the rendering of said
architectural services upon the terms and conditions and for the
compensation therein set forth, which agreement the City Council
finds would be for the benefit and in the best interests of the
City and should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the agreement, dated December 26, 1967,
this day submitted to the City Council to be made and entered
into by and between the City of Anaheim and Manuel P. Mendez,
Architect, A.I.A., providing for the employment of said architect
to render architectural services to the City in connection with
the construction of said modifications, additions and alterations
to said Anaheim Police Department Building, upon the terms and
conditions and for the compensation set forth in said agreement,
be, and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 2nd day of January, 1968.
