1967-699A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM REWESTIN THE CO NT' OF ORANGE TO INCLUDE WITHIN THE ARTERIAL HIHWA? FINANCING PROGRAM THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUNKIST STREET WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to improve Sunkist Street from La Palma Avenue to Lincoln Avenue WHEREAS, Sunkist Street is an important artery in the County of Orarge and of general County interest; and WHEREAS, Article 2 and Article Chapter 9, Division 2 of the Streets and Highways Code authorizes a County, if it so desires, to expend funds apportioned to it out of the California Highway Users Tax Fund for aid to any City in the improvement, construction or repair of a street within a City; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors intends to, by appro- priate action, provide in the County Budget of the Special Road Improvement Fund for the Fiscal Year 1968-1969 a sum of money for the improvement of streets within the thcorporated cities of the County in accordance with tae Orange County Arterial Highway Financing Program. BE IT F"RTHER RESOLVED that, by this resolution, the City of Anaheim agrees with the basic concepts of the Arterial Highways Financing Program; and further agrees that its share of the cost of improvements and rights of way will be available for the fiscal year 1968-1969 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of Supervisors of Orange County, Califor- nia, and a certified copy to the County Surveyor and Road Commis- sioner, 400 West 8th Street, Santa Aria, California.
