1967-659RESOLUTION NO. 67R 65A A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes and WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of GULF OIL CORPORATION, a Pennsylvania corporation, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes and more particularly described as follows: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across that portion of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 21, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as per Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, described as follows: Beginning at the center line intersection of Ball Road and Walnut Street, as said intersection is shown on a Map of Tract 1981, recorded in Book 67, pages 26 through 29, inclusive, of Miscel- laneous Maps, records of said Orange County; thence North 89° 30' 42" East along the center line of said Ball Road, a distance of 207.00 feet; thence South 0° 15' 16" East a distance of 53 feet to a point in a line that is parallel with and 53 feet Southerly, as measured at right angles from the center line of said Bali Road; thence South 89° 30' 42" West along said parallel line a distance of 125.10 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve con- cave Southeasterly and having a radius of 25 feet; thence Westerly and Southerly along said curve through a central angle of 89° 45' 58" an arc distance of 39.17 feet to a point in a line that is parallel with and 57 feet Easterly, as measured at right angles from the center line of said Walnut Street; thence South 0° 15' 16" East tangent to said curve along said parallel line, a dis- tance of 125.10 feet; thence South 89° 30.' 42" West, a distance of 57 feet to the center line of said Walnut Street; thence North 0° 15' 16" West along the center line of said Walnut Street, a distance of 203.00 feet to the point of beginning. -1- be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
