A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of JAMES ENMI and VELMA W.
EMMI husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road
and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes, over
under and across that portion of the Southeast quarter
of Section 34, Township 3 South, Range 10 West, in the
Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as said Section is
shown on a rap recorded in Book 51, page 7 of riscel
laneous Maps, records of said Orange County, described
as follows
Beginning at the center line intersection of Kimberly
Avenue and South Raymond Avenue, as shown on a Yap filed
in Book 74, page 29 of Record of Surveys in the office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County; thence
North 89° 36' 04" West a distance of 59.62 feet;
thence South 0° 23' 56" West a distance of 30 feet to
the beginning of a curve concave Southwesterly and
having a radius of 15 feet, a radial line bearing
North 0° 23' 56" East passes through the point of
beginning of said curve; thence Easterly and Southerly
along said curve through a central angle of 89° 30' 45"
an arc distance of 23.43 feet; thence North 89° 54' 41"
East a distance of 45 feet; thence North 0° 05' 19"
West along the center line of said Raymond Avenue,
a distance of 44.49 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion lying within the City
of Fullerton.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 28th day of November 19 67
