A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR UNDERGROUND
DRAINAGE PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for under-
ground drainage purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ANAHEIM UNION HIGH SCHOOL
DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for under-
ground drainage purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for underground drainage purposes
only over, under and across the Southerly 10
feet of the Westerly 8.00 feet of the Easterly
170.01 feet of the East half of Lot 16 of
Helen Lynch's Subdivision, as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 442, page 158 of Deeds,
records of Los Angeles County, California.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 31st day of October 19 67
