A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING ACCESS EASEMENTS TO OLIVE
HILLS RESERVOIR. (84-15A)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law;
and
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of May, 1985, a public hearing
was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning
said proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, from the evidence
submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement
hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for present or
prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation
facilities.
WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place
public utility facilities in use for which easements are not
reserved and excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby
determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that
no easements be reserved for such facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of those access
easements, more specifically described as follows:
Parcel Three (3) and Parcel Seven (7) of the deed to
the City of Anaheim recorded December 11, 1962 in
Book 6355, pages 675 through 679 of Official Records,
being a portion of the land allotted to the Heirs of
Leandro Serrano in Decree of Partition of the Rancho
Santiago de Santa Ana, recorded in Book "B" of
Judgments of the 17th Judicial District Court of
California, in the City of Orange, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows:
Parcel No. Three: A strip of land thirty-seven (37)
feet in width, lying 22.00 feet westerly and
southerly, and 15.00 feet easterly and northerly of
the following described line:
Beginning at "Point C" as set forth in Parcel No. Two
of the above mentioned deed recorded in Book 6355,
pages 675 through 679 of Official Records said point
being S 77° 40' 14" E, 187.32 feet from the

centerline intersection of Nohl Ranch Road and
Villareal Drive; thence S 3° 11' 40" E, 187.74 feet
to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
northeasterly and having a radius of 37 feet; thence
southeasterly 47.42 feet along said curve through a
central angle of 73° 25' 43"; thence S 76° 37' 23" E,
tangent to said curve 277.03 feet; thence S 77° 46'
28" E, 400.45 feet, to the point of terminus of said
37 foot strip of land.
Parcel No. Seven: A strip of land fifteen (15) feet
in width, the northwesterly line of which is
described as follows:
Commencing at the above described "Point C"; thence S
3° 11' 40" E, 187.74 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave northeasterly and having a
radius of 37 feet; thence Southeasterly 47.42 feet
along said curve through a central angle of 73° 25'
43"; thence S 76° 37' 23" E, tangent to said curve,
277.03 feet to a point in the centerline of that
certain 30-foot wide strip of land described in the
deed recorded November 1, 1957 in Book 4089, page 349
of Official Records, said point being the True Point
of Beginning of the 15-foot strip of land herein
described; thence S 58° Ol' 09" W, 330.55 feet along
said centerline described in said deed recorded in
Book 4089, page 349 of Official Records to the point
of terminus of said 15-foot strip of land. (Said
centerline is described in said deed as bearing "N
Reserving therefrom any portion of the electrical
easement for communication cables and other
electrical facilities as granted to the City June 8,
1984 in Document No. 84-237239.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 14th day of May, 1985.
