A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COtniCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING COND~TIONAL USE
PERMIT NO. 960
WHEREAS, the City Planning Cqmmission of 'the City of
Anaheim did receive a request for a c~nditional use permit from
VOGE, INC., 7601 Crenshaw Boulevard, Dos F~geles, California, to
permit on-sale beer and wine in a 2roposed restaurant, to be
located on the l:)roper'ty hereinafter described, with a waiver of:
the 6 --foot masonry wall requirement to the rear 0:1: the required
setback plantinq striD (Section l8.40.070(2-a-4) of the Anaheim
10unicipai Code): That saicl. property is situated in the City of:
l.naheirn, County of Orange, State of California, and is more
particularly described as follows:
That ;;.;ortion of rIot 16 of Anaheim Extension, in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as shown
on a nl.ap of survey made by \.o7illiam Hamel and filed in the
office of the County Recorder of Las i;ngeles County, Califor-
nia, a copy of which is shown in Book 3, page 163, et seg,
entitle6. "Los fulgeles County Ilaps, n records of said Orange
County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the center line of South Street,
"1orth 740 36' OS" East 111.50 feet from the northwest corner
of the land conveyed by deed recorded October 28, 1947 in
300k 1590, page 187 0:1: Official Records, said corner being
South 740 36' 05"iiest 373.10 feet from the intersection of
said center line with the center line of Placentia Avenue;
thence South 150 45' 25:1 East 138.75 feet, parallel with the
Hest line of said land to the north\vesterly line of the land
described in the deed to William H. Grebel, et ux, recorded
July 3, 1948 in Book 1663, pages 397 and 398 of Official
Ftecords; thence ]:.Jorth 740 36' 05" East to the northeast corner
of said land; thence North 00 05' 15" East 195.84 feet along
said center line of Placentia Avenue to said center line of
South Street;; thence South 740 36' 05" t\fest 261.60 feet to
the point of beginning.
EXCEPT that portion of said land included within South Street,
as shown on said map.
AND WHEREAS, the Cit{ Planni~g Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Ha 1 in the City of; Anaheim upon
.aid request on Auqust 28' ,19 67 , notice. of which said
public hearing were duly given as req~red by law and the pro-
visions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim MUnicipal Code;
and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, inves-
tigation and studies made by itself a~d in its behalf and after
due consideration of all evidence and.reports offered at said
hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. .PC67-196
~rantin~ Conditional Use Permit No. 960, subiect
to cp-rtain conditions therein set forth ; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty-two days from the
date of the adoption of said resolution, the City Council did
elect, upon its own motion, to review the action of the City
Planning Commission in . . ... said conditional use

said conditional use permit, and notict+s of such public hearing

WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
bearing, the City Council did duly hOl! and conduct such hear-

to be heard and did receive evidence a.d reports; and
WHEREAS, the City Council doe, find, after careful
consideration of the recommendations 0: the City'Planning
c...ission and all evidence and report_ offered at said hearing,
that Conditional Use Permit No. 960 should be denied.
