1967-410 - RESOLUTION NO. 67R-<410 .",... . A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <l>F THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 63R-9l0, PERSONNEL RULE #23 PERQUISITES. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIl. OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM that Personnel Rule #23 Perquisites is hereby am$nded to read as follows: RULE 23. PERQUISITES Section 23.0 Uniformed personnel of the Police and Fire Departments and certain other designated personnel shall be furnished uniforms in accordance with regulations established by the City Mahager. Section 23.1 The City shall provide an employee in the classified service adequate meals under the following conditions. 23.11 An employee shall be provided with two adequate meals if he is called out on emergency overtime work one (1) hour before a scheduled work da~. 23.12 An employee will be provi~d one meal if he is called back to emergency overtime work within one and one-half (l~) hours after normal quitting time and works beyond two and one-half (2~) hours after normal quitting time. 23.13 An employee shall be prov~ded an adequate meal if he works two (2) hours overtime beyond the normal quitting time. 23.14 An employee shall receive one meal if he is scheduled to work overtime two (2) hours before a regular day. 23.15 An employee shall be provided an adequate meal at four (4) hour intervals during the performance of emergency overtime work. 23.16 Meal time shall be compensated at the overtime rate and shall normally be limited to one-half (~) hour. 23.17 An employee may, at his request, be compensated for meals at the rate of one-half (%) hour of overtime pay per meal. Section 23.2 The City of Anaheim shall pay the premium for single-party hospitalization and major medical insurance for employees in the classified service, the City Manager, City Attorney, City Clerk, City Treasurer, members of the City Council, and members of the Pl~nning Commission. Such premium shall be paid only to the company or companies with which the City of Anaheim has contracted for such insurance coverage. Two-party or family coverage shall be made available at the option of the individual eligible for such coverage. The City of Anaheim shall pay that portion of the premium equivalent to the single-party rate, plus any additional portion of the premium as dete~ined by the City Council, for any eligible individual who elects to take such two-party or family coverage; and the individual shall bear the cost of the difference in premium. n ! . Section 23.3 The City of Anaheim shall contribute a portion of the cost of employee retirement benefits in accordance with the provisions of the contract between the City of Anaheim and the State Employees' Retirement System. T j 1 - .,,-... 23.31 The City of Anaheim shall 40ntribute a portion of the cost of employee survivors' ben~fits in accordance with the provisions of the above co*tract. Section 23.4 The City of Anaheim shall pay a portion of the premium for employee group life insurance coverage in aecordance with the provisions of any contract between the City of Anaheim, and any company or companies providing such coverage. day of THE EFFECTIVE DATE of this Resolution shall be July 7, 1967.
