WHEREAS, the City Planning Co~ission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed- ings No. 66-67-72 to con~ider an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code telating to zoning, and to consider a change in the boundaries ~f the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, an~ at said hearing did receive evidence and reports from perso~s interested therein and from its staff; and WHEREAS, within a period of f~rty days following said bearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution containing a report of its findings, a $urnrnary of the evidence presented at said hearing, and a recomm~ndation that the pro- posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of evidence, report of findings and recomm~ndation of the City Planning Commission the City Council dia fix the 18th day of July , 19 67 as the time, and the City Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in which it'is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there- of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor- tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report of findings and recommendation; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the'amendment to Title' 18 of the A~aheim Municipal Code should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth. ~, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, county of Orange, State of California, to wit: -1- 66-67-72 - r , I -I ,- ..-.... That portion of Lot 20 of the Go~den State Tract 2, as shown on a Map recorded in Book ~, page 68 of Miscel- laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest cornelrof Lot 69 of Tract 2021, recorded in Book 57, pages 32 an~ 33 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County; tpence Easterly along the South line of said Lot 69, 148.5~ feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 71 of said Tract 2P21; thence Southerly along the West line of Lots 71 and 72 of said Tract 2021, to the Southwest corner of said Lot 72; thence Easterly along the South line of Lots 72 and 73 of said Tract 2021, to the Southeast corner of said Lot 73; thence Southerly along the West line and the Southerly prolongation thereof of Lots 2 and 1 of said Tract 2021, 116 feet; thence North 890 51' 30" West 325.68 feet; thence North 0'0 45' 20" West 10 feet; thence North 890 511 3D" West 100.09 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 15 feet; thence Westerly and Northerly along said curve through a central angle of 900 00' 00" a distance of 23.56 feet; thence Northerly along the East line of Maplewood Street, as shown on a Map of said Tract 2021, a distance of 215 feet to the point of beginning. now is R-A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to R-l, ONE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions: 1. That the owners of subject property shall deed to the City of Anaheim a st~ip of land 30 feet in width, from the center line of the street, along Romneya Drive, for street widening purposes. 2. That all engineering requirements of the City of Anaheim along Romneya Drive, including preparation of improvement plans and installation of all im- provements, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street grading and paving, drainage facilities, or other appurtenant work shall be complied with as required by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City Engineer. 3. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot, along Romneya Drive and Maplewood Street, for street lighting purposes. -....... 4. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of l5~ per front foot along Romneya Drive and Maplewood Street, for tree planting purposes. That all of the above-mentioned conditions shall be complied with prior to final building and zoning inspections. 5. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City Council an Ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim -2- r I "'" .- ~, Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and determined to be necessary and proper,.
