A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUN~IL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND D~TERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULP BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Co~ission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Re~lassification Proceed-
ings No. 66-67-67 to con~ider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code telating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries ~f the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of f~rty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a $ummary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 18th day
of 'July , 19 67 as the time, and the City Council
Chambers ~n the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described', from the zone or zones in
whiCh it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of-in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title'18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

PARCEL 1:
That portion of Block "C" of Kroege:t1s Subdivision of
Vineyard Lot D-l, Anaheim, in the city of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of Californ~a, as per map re-
corded in Book 5, Page 34 of ~dscellaneous Maps, in
the office of the County Recorder of said County, de-
scribed as follows:
Beginning on the southerly line of said Block IIC" at a
point 2.50 feet westerly from the s~utheasterly corner
of said Block "C"; thence northerly parallel with the
easterly line of said Block "C,1l 13$ feet to the south-
easterly corner of the land conveye~ to Fred Samuel and
wife by deed recorded April 27, 1946, in Book 1402, page
455 of Official Records; thence westerly along the souther-
ly line of said land conveyed to Fred Samuel, a distance
of 99.15 feet to the northeasterly corner of Lot 1 of
Tract No. 1157, as per map recorded in Book 40, pages 34
and 35 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said County;
thence southerly along the easterly line of said Lot 1
of said Tract No. 1157, a distance of 135 feet to the
southerly line of said Block IIC"; thence easterly along
the southerly line of said Block lIC" to the point of
beginning.
PARCEL 2:
Lot 1 of Tract No. 1157, in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in
Book 40, pages 34 and 35 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of said County.
be excluded from R-3, MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and
incorporated in C-l, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the follow-
ing conditions:
1. That the owners of subject property shall deed
to the City of Anaheim a strip of land 40 feet
in width, from the center line of the street,
along East Street, including a 25-foot radius
corner return, for street widening purposes.
2. That the owners of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of 15~ per front foot,
along East Street and Linco,ln Avenue, for tree
planting purposes.
3. That the owners of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot,
along East street and Lincoln Avenue, for street
lighting purposes.
4. That all of the above conditions shall be complied
with within a period of 180 days from date hereof,
or such further time as the City Council may grant.

he is hereby authorized and directed t~ prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amendingiTit1e 18 of the Anaheim
MUnicipal Code to accomplish the objec~s herein fo~ and
determined to be necessary and proper.
