WORK ORDIR NO. 1147; AND A ORIZING THE EXECU-
TION OF AN AGREEMENT TO BE MADE AtfD ENTERED
IN'l'O WITH SAID E. D. JOHNSqm AND COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the Ci ty counCil~id adopt Resolution No.
67R-33B finding and deteX'Jllining that i" public eonvenienceand

improvement in the City of Anaheim, 0 wit:
Furnish all labor and mate~' a1 nec,ssary to

Anaheim design No. 730, or ilequal, and
appurtenant work as per PI!;, s and specifi-

AND WHEREAS, E. D. Johnson I and Company has offered to
furnish all labor and material to in,tall said street lighting
in accordance with the design 'Plans~. profiles, drawings and/or
specifications prepared by the Pub1i Works Department of ~
City of Anaheim, and to install the... within thirty working
days from and after the execution of , a contract.to be made and

City, for the price of $2,050.00; anq
WHEREAS, the City Council ,inds that said price is the
lowest obtainable for the furnishing of all labor and material
to install said street 1iqhting, and ithat the offer of E. D.
Johnson and Company should be accept~d upon the conditions
hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RES 01' VED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer 0 E. D. Johnson and Company
to furnish all labor and material to~." in., stall 4 dead ends tan4ards,
in Tract No. 2309, in the City of An. eim, per City of Aaaheim
design No. 730, or equal, and appur naDt work as per plans and
specifications, Work Order No. 1147, iin accordance with the
4es~gn, plans, profiles, drawings an~/or specifications pre-
pared by the Public Works Department lof the City of Anaheim, be,
and the same is hereby, accepted, u~on the fOllowing conditions:
1.
That all labor and materia~ shall be furnished and
the installation of said s~reet lighting completed
within thrity (30) working ldays from and after the
execution of a contract to ~ made and entered into
by and between E. D. Johnsdn and Company and the
City of Anaheim.
That in the furnishing of III labor and material for
the installation of said s eet liqhting it shall be
expressly understood and a eed that said E. D.
Johnson and Company is acti'g as an independent
contractor and not as an a . nt, servant or employee
of the City of Anaheim. i
