A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM VACATING THAT PUBLIC UTILITY EASE-
MENT AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF IMPERIAL
HIGHWAY AND LA PALMA AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by
resolution duly adopted, declare its iptention to vacate certain
public streets, highways or public seryice easements pursuant to
the Public Streets, Highways ang Service Easements Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said vaca-
tion was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of March, 1982, a public hearing
was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning
said proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council do~s find, from the evidence
submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement
hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for present or
prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation
facilities.
WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place public
utility facilities in use for which ea$ements are not reserved and
excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby determines that
the public convenience and necessity r~quires that no easements be
reserved for such facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of that certain
public utility easement more specifically described as follows:

That certain public utility easement in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State Of California, for
the installation and maintenance of underground elec-
trical conduit and conductors, padmount transformers
and related facilities over, under and across a strip
of land 5 feet wide, unless otherwise indicated on said
map, lying within that portion of Allotments in Decree
of Partition of the Rancho Canon de Santa Ana, recorded
in Case No. 1978 of the 17th Judicial District Court of
California, a certified copy of which was recorded
February 8, 1974 in Book 28, page 158 of Deeds, in the
office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
described as follows:

Parcel No. 3 as shown on a map filed in Book 56, page 2,
Parcel Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said
Orange County, more particularly a~scribed as follows:

That easement as shown on a plat attached to the deed to
said City of Anaheim, which recorded May 15, 1975, in
Book ll403, page 1360, Official Records. '
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Off~ce of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that ~he City clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to ~ause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is ~pproved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2nd day of March, 1982.
