A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEY-
ING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES. (R/w #2800-12)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of HAROLD S. VAN DEN BERG to sell to
the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to
be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes, and
more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Vineyard Lot "H-4" of
Anaheim, as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, pages
629 and 630 of Deeds, Records of Los Angeles County,
California, described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Anaheim
Boulevard and Stueckle Avenue; thence N 150 30' 00" W
along said centerline of Anaheim Boulevard 90.00 feet;
thence S 740 22' 00" W, 47.00 feet; thence S 150 30'
00" E, 45.03 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Northwesterly and having a radius of 15.00 feet;
thence Southerly and Westerly along said curve through
a central angle of 890 52' DO" an arc distance of 23.53
feet to a point; thence S 150 38' 00" E, 30.00 feet;
thence N 740 22' 00" E, 61.90 feet to the point of begin-
ning,

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be construed
to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the City street
system (Section 1806, Streets and Highways Code).

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a warrant
and pay to the owner of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim and charged to Account No. 13-792-7101-E2580,
the sum of Ten Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($10,400.00).

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 30th day of March, 1982.
